Independent Publisher Book Awards

Held in New York, USA this prestigious event brings together authors and publishers from all over the US, Canada, Australia and around 15 other global territories to recognize their contributions to the world of book creation.

Unity Art Printing is proud to have worked on Venice: Impressions in Ink by visual artist Desmond Freeman. This book took home gold in the Fine Art category of the National Awards section.

Freeman, originally from Australia, has worked as a designer in London, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. His diverse and varied wealth of experience has deservedly earned him a reputation as one of the top museum and interior designers.

Unity Art Printing is honored to have worked on this project which boasts 88 full color pages displaying 50 of Freeman’s intricate sketches of Venice’s world renowned architecture.

These pen and ink drawings are elevated with lines of text and poetry from notable authors and fellow artists interspersed throughout.

The vibrancy and detail captured within this project serves as just one of many fine examples of the elaborate work Unity Art Printing is capable of.

With around 5,000 entries to Independent Publisher Book Awards, this literary celebration is a true representation of the tireless hard work and dedication required to keep the industry alive and booming. Being commended for our work on such a global stage is a distinction and privilege not every book manufacturer is awarded.
