At Unity Art Printing, we appreciate the value of fine craftsmanship, a long-lasting product and being proud of what we create.

But we also recognize the value of the world around us. This is why we constantly innovate and strive to operate our business in ways which minimize our carbon footprint, while ensuring our products don’t lapse in quality.

The three main ways we achieve this are through recycling, our use of soy based non-toxic ink and our involvement in reforestation campaigns.

1. Recycled material and product

For us to succeed in this area, we must minimize the material we get rid of.

Wastage paper is repurposed wherever possible. Often it can be used to make different types of paper products. Unfortunately, in some instances we do have to dispose of product and this is always done so in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

As the industry evolves and expands, we’re thrilled to see the demand from clients for recycled, ethically sourced material continue to increase.

2. Soy-based ink

The ink we use is non-toxic which is a big win when it comes to protecting the planet.

Our ink is actually soy-based, and yes, that does mean it’s made from soy beans! Studies have shown that this type of printing ink is much less harmful to the environment than traditional petroleum based ink.

Furthermore, the quality of soy-based ink is ever-improving. This type of ink can provide more accurate color matching and makes it easier for the paper it’s on to be recycled.

3. Reforestation campaigns

As any business must replenish its stock, human beings also have a responsibility to replenish the resources they use. Unity Art Printing does just that by regularly participating in reforestation campaigns across China.
